Principal's Message

  

Dear Families:

 

I am excited and honored to be the new principal at J.E. Terry Elementary School! I am privileged to work alongside an expert faculty and staff in caring for and educating our children. My goal is to provide a safe, healthy, and happy learning environment that is filled with engaging and enriching learning opportunities for all of our students.

 I am committed to supporting our accomplished and enthusiastic faculty and staff in providing the best practices to help our learners thrive and succeed in a safe and supportive environment. I ask for your support in this effort by prioritizing your students’ daily attendance, monitoring assignments and progress, encouraging daily reading for pleasure, participating in school activities and events, and working closely with your child’s teacher.

One of the most important characteristics of an effective school is a strong partnership between school and home. I invite you to become an active participant in our school community by volunteering, joining our Parent Teacher Organization, attending school events, and supporting school activities. We welcome your involvement and input at J.E. Terry Elementary!

Along with your child’s teacher, I want to keep you informed with current information. We utilize multiple mediums for communication at J.E. Terry, including school and district websites, social media, and Remind. In addition, you are always welcome to email or call me, send me a note, or schedule a time to meet or talk if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions. I look forward to meeting you and working with you and your children.
